Bridge Tyres & Wheels Championship Celebrations The annual championship awards presentation was held on the evening of Saturday October 29th at Wiscombe House. In addition to celebrating the success of the leading drivers and riders the evening also marked the tenth anniversary of the championship and the sponorship by Bridge Tyres. Local Ford Cortina driver Craig Moore collected the premier trophy as the 2011 Wiscombe Champion for competitors whilst Martin Robbins who rides a KTM KB was awarded the Sir Nicholas Williamson Trophy as the N.H.C.A. champion to add to his national championship victory. images ..... |

Greenpower racer at
Wiscombe Park An electric-powered lightwieght racer built by students at Newton Abbot College will be on show at Torbay Motor Club's Wiscombe Park hillclimb meeting on Saturday May 14th 2011. The team known as 'Team Lucy' will spend the day at the club's annual Wiscombe event and their car will be displayed in the paddock area in addition to making an appearance on the track during the day. Renewed sponsorship from Torbay M.C. for 2011 will be presented at the conclusion of the meeting at the awards ceremony. more ..... |
